De Jong played came on as a substitute in Sunday evening’s 4-0 win over Real Valladolid

Following the arrivals of Antony and Martin Dubravka, United are expected to have completed their business for this summer.

Indeed, De Jong’s Holland and Barcelona team-mate Memphis Depay is also in the UK with Xavi’s squad having been awarded a few days off following a stellar start to their La Liga campaign.

It is believed the two are over in the UK for a wedding.

De Jong and Depay were both substitutes in Sunday evening’s 4-0 win over Real Valladolid at the Camp Nou.

Goals from Robert Lewandowski, Pedri and Sergi Roberto ensured a comfortable evening for the Catalan outfit as they went within two points of Real Betis at the summit of the table.
