An IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad alum, Ashneer Grover has carved a niche for himself, not without a shade of controversy though. Before stepping in his much fiery role as a Shark Tank India judge, the maverick entrepreneur had donned many hats in major companies as Kotak and Amex India. Ashneer found the regular job to be suffocating after grinding 9 years in the banking sector. He went on to build Grofers and BharatPe. Grofers was merged with Zomato later and renamed Blinkit. Cofounder of BharatPe, Ashneer exited the company embroiled in allegations of swindling the company’s finances. After all the hullabaloo the fiasco seems to be over and everyone seemed to have moved on.
